Product Specialist Francois Gauthier:

Francois Gauthier is the Marketing Manager for Sony's Broadcast and Professional cameras and camcorders. He joined Sony of Canada in 2002 where he held various positions in the consumer and broadcast group as technical instructor, designer, and project manager. He also was part of Sony's System Integration Group where he was a member of the design and implementation team for Broadcast, Commercial and Medical projects.

Prior to joining Sony Canada, Francois worked for 8 years for S.E.T.T.E. - a major French language broadcast and post production operator - in a variety of roles including master control operation, transcoding, post production, engineering and training.

The PMW-EX3:

The PMW-EX3 compact camcorder with an interchangeable lens system incorporates three half-inch type Exmor Full HD CMOS sensors, each with an effective pixel count of 1920 x 1080, delivering stunning-quality HD images in 1080P, 720P, and 1080i HD resolutions. A rich variety of features for creative shooting are incorporated into this camcorder such as "Slow & Quick Motion", which is also commonly known as "over-cranking" and "under-cranking", selectable gamma curves, slow-shutter, interval recording and the Picture Profile feature.

NEX-FS100UK:

The NEX-FS100UK is an interchangeable lens camcorder featuring a Super 35mm sensor equivalent in size to Super35mm film cameras (same as PMW-F3), and a Sony E-Mount 18 to 200mm zoom lens. Developed specifically as a digital motion camcorder, it captures fine detail and image texture with image fidelity, low noise and wide exposure latitude.

LMD-2110W Reference Monitor

The LMD-2110W is a 21.5-inch full HD-resolution multi-format professional LCD monitor. A cost-effective entry-level professional monitor, it incorporates high-purity color filters and a 10-bit digital signal processing engine to deliver stunning color reproduction and natural gray scale. In addition to conventional analog SD input interfaces, the LMD-2110W is equipped with an HDMI interface as standard, and is ideal for a wide range of professional high-definition applications, such as entry-level nonlinear editing, studio source monitoring, surveillance, and various other simple picture monitoring tasks.

With brightness values up to 300 lumens higher than our predecessor models, the VPLEX175 gives you more opportunities of meeting customer needs.

UWPV6/4244 Wireless Mic System

UWP Series UHF synthesized wireless microphone system. Package includes a lavalier microphone, bodypack transmitter, plug-on transmitter and a portable tuner. Mounting adapter for camcorder included. Channels 42 to 45. The UWP-V6 includes extremely robust metal construction, mic/line input selection on the bodypack and plug-on transmitters, a miniature metal body omni-directional lav microphone and plus the receiver includes a convenient auto channel scanning function allowing automatic search for unoccupied channels.
